Brandon Eugenio (Senior Instructor)
Brandon K. Eugenio was born and raised on the island of Oahu in Hawaii and was exposed to martial arts at an early age by his father whose own studies in Hawaii and California included Aikido, Kajukenbo, Okinawa-Te Karate and Kung Fu.  Although he was taught informally by his father, he did not begin his formal study of martial arts until about the age of four beginning with Professor Walter Godin’s Kempo Karate classes in Palisades. While his Kempo training only lasted a couple of years, he would continue to learn informally from his father while also being exposed to Aikido and Okinawa-Te Karate in elementary and high school.
Around 1989, while at the University of Hawaii, Brandon studied Yang Style Tai Chi with Sifu (teacher) Francis Pang and later tried Kempo Karate again for several months. He first started Wing Chun Kung Fu under Sifu James Sweet from about 1991-1993. After a few years’ break, he then went back to study with Sweet Sifu from about 1997-1999 while attending the William S. Richardson School of Law.
Around 2001, Brandon was first introduced to Chen Taijiquan (Chen-Style Tai Chi) at Puunui park in Liliha and in 2002 he discovered the Tse Qigong Centre.  At the Centre, he began studying Dayan (Wild Goose) Qigong and Chen Taijiquan under Sifu Michael Tse. After a several months he also began studying Wing Chun Kung Fu and Chun Yuen Quan. In 2007, when Tse Sifu moved back to England, he entrusted Brandon to continue teaching the Centre’s Hawaii students where, as a Tse Qigong Centre authorized instructor, he teaches Dayan Qigong, Chen Taijiquan and Wing Chun Kung Fu.
In 2010, Brandon founded the Hawaii Wild Goose Qigong and Kung Fu Association, now known as Paradise Martial Arts, to continue to pass on the traditional Chinese skill he learned from Tse Sifu and to help the people of Hawaii live healthier, happier lives. Brandon continues to improve his skill by studying with Tse Sifu both in Hawaii and abroad.
